There has been much research and documentation done on how livestock factory farming is a major contributor to chronic disease, environmental degradation and animal cruelty. Fur, Leather, Wool, Cashmere, Angora, Silk and Down are all considered desirable products, yet is it necessary to have any of these animal products included in a fashionable item?
Ideal North is not advocating that everyone should become a vegan, vegetarian or an animal rights activist. What we advocate is that there are different degrees in which you can live your life relative to the animals around you and to search out better alternatives.
